Snow in San Diego

Motorcycle riding promises a lifetime of ADVENTURE.  THIS day hit the target.

I love to ride in the San Diego, California area. Surf, sand, and beautiful women certainly are part of the Southern California vibe; but did you know that San Diego is also extremely mountainous? Head EAST from the Surf City and within minutes you will be climbing elevation with a topography that boasts mammoth rocks.

A day of riding through the San Diego region, from my house a bit North up the Pacific Coastline, is about 300 miles. Sounds like a perfect day.

On THIS particular outing, when I left home it was DRY. When I hit San Diego, it was misting rain. When I climbed the “pass” and headed down into the Anzo-Borrego Desert State Park, I encountered SNOW!
